My name is Judith Wisniewski (Wiss-NESS-key) and and I am a graphic designer educated at Tyler School of Art, Temple University (BFA, Graphic Design) and Syracuse University (MFA, Advertising Design). I began my career in the National Advertising Promotion Art Dept. at TV Guide Magazine in Radnor, Pennsylvania. After seven years, I became the coordinator of the graphic design degree program at Delaware County Community College, located west of Philadelphia. I have been involved with design education ever since.

Since 1999, I have lived and worked in the South. The Medical University of South Carolina recruited me to work as a faculty member in the Library, managing student computing labs and classrooms and assisting faculty with WebCT.

For four years, I taught full-time in the Visual Arts curriculum at Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina, both face-to-face and online. My courses included a visual communications lecture class but mostly hands-on studio classes conducted in a computer lab or art studio.

I worked for the Art Institutes for three years, as both as an online instructor and the Visual Arts Department Head at the Virginia Beach campus. In Virginia, I helped to grow the foundations, graphic design, photography, media arts and animation and web design programs. There, I taught page layout, portfolio and business courses.

Most recently, I returned to South Carolina to work as a visual communications contract subject matter expert, course developer and reviewer for a national online school.

I live on Wadmalaw Island, part of Charleston County, South Carolina with one old, spoiled puupy mill rescue wiener dog.
