Thanks for the great article--I found it incredibly helpful, and I've marked a lot of her tips! I really liked your quiz in that you offered some appreciated feedback; I think students would feel more accomplished receiving your praise. It's interesting: I got the question about adding anything to the list wrong. As someone who hasn't taught online, I'm not sure I really have anything to add to the author's ideas. But, your response to my incorrect answer was great.

Thank you Lisa. I enjoyed reading your article too. The summer session at my school begins on Monday and I read your article twice to make sure I'm starting off on the right foot with my online students. Your article gave me two new ways to lower my dropout rate, I will send out a friendly email this week to check in with students not particpating and if that doesn't work, requesting a meeting on campus.
